Weighing in on vintage Pandora's? (AGAIN)
MESSAGE:
Yet another Waterhouse fan with a possible vintage Pandora (see Helena). I posted a message here a few months ago as well as Rita from Australia and now we have Helena asking the same eternal question. How do we know if our prints are vintage Pandora's? Is there not someone that visits at this site with some knowledge of what we're asking? Both Rita's and my own print are on a heavy card-type stock. Judging from Helena's photo, her's is on paper. Their's have printing on the edges, mine only has a JWW signature on the lower right corner. For a site whose members know even the smallest detalis about JWW's models including names and relatives and even their relatives, you'd think that someone would be able to give a solid answer to our questions. We've obviously looked up this site for assistance but I haven't seen one member that's proffered even an attempt at a solid answer. How about a little help here? We three have been lucky enough to find something beautiful that we appreciate very much at least enough to inquire to people "in the know" about it. That's you folks!
IS THERE ANYONE THAT CAN OFFER AN EDUCATED OPINION ON OUR QUERIES?
Thanks for the forum!
RESPONSES:
Hi,
I'm not an expert in vintage prints so can't give any advice as to value etc... Cathy Baker's reply to an earlier Pandora thread contains good information.
However, I did come across this website just now for a dealer who specializes in prints, so perhaps you could see if he can help unravel the background to these prints of Pandora.
His blog is at:

His website for Idbury Prints is at:

Good luck...
See ArtMagick's suggestions above in reference to prints of Pandora.
Best wishes ...
