Last dashes to the Royal Academy ... :)

MESSAGE:
'kotomigd' at Flickr posted a photograph from outside the Royal Academy taken yesterday and wrote ... "Today I went [to see] an exhibition of Waterhouse, one of my favourite painters... I could not find time at all to visit this exhibition and it will close this weekend... Last minutes dash!!"
In response to someone's comment 'kotomigd' wrote,
"... Although It wasn't an enormous exhibition, the venue was packed with his most famous paintings!! Also packed with visitors who dashed here like me ; ))"

I think Nino would be happy ... and would understand. :)

'Fred Pipes' shared a photograph of the "Royal Academy queue" ... showing people in line waiting to visit the exhibition.
And another photograph of one of the outdoor signs. (He like others, isn't sure about Waterhouse as "The Modern Pre-Raphaelite?")  :)

 RESPONSES:

I have a print of Pandora the sash around her waste and the cloth beside her is red, do you know anything about that. and its numbered 24, some sold a print on ebay that had the same number on it, the sash and the cloth was not red.
The exhibit was great and Peter's presence made Elaine's Arts & Crafts tour unforgettable.  There were so many places we visited along the way, that it is currently a complete blur for me.

Met some very interesting, unforgettable, people too!
C.
I forgot to say that all-in-all---it was absolutely splendid!
Hi, C. .... great to hear from you. I had been wondering about your adventures.

When the "blur" begins to depart and the details set in .... would love to hear about the highlights of your trip.

Best wishes,
Cathy
