Attended Waterhouse's funeral in 1917. Brief Biography:PEGRAM, Henry Alfred, R.A. (1862-1937) Figure and portrait sculptor, often of classical subjects. Born in London on 27th July 1862. Studied at the R.A. Schools 1881-87, then assistant to Sir Hamo Thornycroft 1887-91. Exhibited at the R.A. from 1884 and elected A.R.A. 1904, R.A. 1922. In 1889 he won a bronze medal at the Paris International Exhibition, followed by a silver medal in the exhibition of 1900; received a gold medal at Dresden in 1897.
