Attended Waterhouse's funeral in 1917. Brief Biography:GOW, Andrew Carrick, R.A., R.I. (1848-1920) Painter of military and historical subjects, portraits and genre. Born in London on 15th June 1848. Studied at Heatherley's School of Art, London. Elected R.I. 1868 and from 1869 exhibited regularly at the R.A. In 1881 he was elected A.R.A. and R.A. 1891. Keeper of the R.A. from 1911.
